Live and delivering to their objectives – Just launched

Integrati Marketing has just launched for the Ducati Owners Club of Victoria. This project was all about getting the Ducati guys off their chairs doing admin and back on their bikes doing what they love riding bikes not paper!

The background

The Ducati Owners Club of Victoria (DOCV) over the years has grown to be a thriving social club filled with motorcycle enthusiasts who are all passionate about riding their Ducati’s. Over time the success of the club has led to a greater workload on the member of the committee to maintain the clubs running including; up to date member information, yearly membership fees, event management and fees and ongoing and regular communication to the DOCV members. Unfortunately, their very success as a club meant a lot of repetitive data entry and processing of forms – equaling less time on their Ducati’s’.

The idea

What if the DOCV had an online Member Centre which could handle all the member information including their personal details, their bikes and also allow for an e-commerce gateway so they could pay their member fees and fees for paid events online?

The engagement

The Ducati Owners Club of Victoria engaged with Integrati Marketing Consulting to create a proposal to define an online strategy and plan to specify a Member Centre to migrate old paper based processes which were taking hundreds of hours a year by their Committee to manage payments, events and membership details to a fully secure and online Member Centre. So, we came up with some agreed objectives which were;

  • Reduce the committees’ time administering the running the club
  • Allow members to self-manage their details online
  • Create a secure payment and management gateway for members
  • Allow for online access to current user and payment data
  • Migrate current paper based forms to the member site as contact forms online
  • Create a content management system which allows for different roles to maintain the site and for users to publish new forms and manage existing pages.

The results

Integrati Marketing working with the DOCV developed the strategy and project plan to achieve all of the objectives by;

  1. Delivering the project on time and on budget (site developed in 8 weeks)
  2. Successfully creating a secure Member Centre and e-commerce payment centre
  3. Creating online forms to manage existing and new member and bike information
  4. Created an online database to extract relevant data on-demand
  5. Reduce the administration time of the DOCV committee

The project has been successfully delivered and now the guys are thinking about adding in new functionality with phase 2 of the project for
