“Mrs. Saroem Nhor is the village bank president who has been selected by the other members. She is a farmer who owns a plot of land to grow rice to feed her family. Her husband is a dessert seller. Although they work hard at their careers, they still earn little income. They want to start a new business, but they don’t have enough money. Thus, Mrs. Saroem Nhor decided to apply for a loan to buy some piglets, pig food for breeding pigs, and dessert for resale. She is the mother of five children: one attends the local public school, while the others are seamstresses in a garment factory.”
